Ohio is
one of the first states in the country to look closely at the lives of
young African American girls and Lima is one of the four cities in the
state to provide the answers. It's called the Rise Sister Rise Study. Watch the Video.
Lima was one of four cities
that participated in the study and local Rise Sister Rise program is
looking at ways to use this information to help local girls rise up to

A three-year study
conducted by the Rise Sister Rise project has been completed, and
investigators found that most black girls' lives are filled with
contradictions, 10TV's Andrea Cambern reported
